About Me

Photography, for me, is both a passion and way to engage with the stories of people and places around me. When I make images, it is much more than just snapping a picture. Since I love learning people's stories it's important to me that I get to engage and connect with my subjects.

When not a photographer, I am a cook, scientist, musician, and teacher. My family is very dear to me and I love my fiancé, Ashton :)

My approach to capturing images is to place authenticity above all else. In other words, I will avoid editing people until they look "perfect" models. I seek to bring out the inherent beauty of every person. Yes, you are beautiful.
